20th Century Studios will be holding an advance screening for Sam Raimi’s (Drag Me to Hell) survival thriller SEND HELP starring Rachel McAdams (Red Eye), Dylan O’Brien (Maze Runner Trilogy), Bruce Campbell (Maniac Cop), Dennis Haysbert (24), Emma Raimi (Year One), Chris Pang (Monster) and Edyll Ismail (La Brea).

Raimi last directed Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), which also starred Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer.

Upcoming SD Action and Horror Meetup – IRON LUNG (Feb 3rd)

Mark Fischbach (Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Musical) makes his feature film directorial debut based on David Szymanski’s independent video game IRON LUNG starring Troy Baker (Rick and Morty), Seán McLoughlin (Brain Leak Podcast), Elsie Lovelock (SMG4), Caroline Kaplan (Proof), Dave Pettitt (Scars Above) and Elle LaMont (Alita: Battle Angel).

TRIVIA: The movie holds the world record for most fake blood used in a movie, approximately 80,000 gallons, beating Evil Dead (2013)'s 50,000.

Being an indie project, the film was only slated to show in 60 theaters, but shortly after the trailer the number grew to 1500+ in a matter of days.

David Szymanski, creator of the video game this is based on, was involved with the film since pre-production, assisting with its screenplay and being on set during filming. He also has a small cameo in the film.

TRIVIA: Christian Bale portrays Dr. Frankenstein's Monster. His youngest child, Joseph (also known as Rex), will have a small part. Joseph/Rex previously had a small part in Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), which his father also starred in.

The film contains some visual homages to Fritz Lang's Metropolis (1927). Brigitte Helm ("Maria") was an inspiration for The Bride and had been considered by James Whale for the part in The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), but she turned it down.
