Beyond Beginner - Intro Ride at High Mt. Preserve

Meet at small parking lot off of College Road (University Drive.)

Intro to High Mountain. If you ever wanted to give it a try at a nice slow, no pressure pace, and you've mastered most of the beginner rides, this ride is for you.

High Mt is a technical park, which is a great place to work on skills. There will be stopping and walking. No drop.

No ride to the top. 4 - 5 miles

A description from mtbNJ "with lots of loose rock, and rock garden too and lots of climbing, lessflowy trails hence the rocks. This trails will make you love or hate High Mountain. There's some nice single track too."

Note: Can get there from Hamburg Tpk in Wayne to University Drive at a light (Turn left) or

From 287 to Route 208 S, Take Ewing Ave Exit and travel S to T (stop sign), Turn L onto High Mt Road. Stay on High Mt Road to fork, keep right to stay on High Mt Road. At next traffic light, make a right. At stop sign, this is College Road, turn right. Parking lot is up a ways on the right.
