Winterbike 2018 Kingdom Trails, East Burke, VT Saturday 03/03-04/2018
The dates are (arrive) Friday March 2nd and (ride) Saturday March 3rd (probably Sunday March 4th riding/skiing/snowboarding, too). **FREE FAT BIKE DEMOS** Looking to get up to Kingdom Trails again this year to demo Fat Bikes in the snow again. A few of us did it the past few years (not last year, no Snow) and we had a lot of fun. There's also a Fat Bike Race during the event. We need to plan ahead so that we can get a cabin of something for the amount of people coming. We'll be heading up Friday evening and coming back Sunday (most likely plan) RSVP and let me know what your lodging plans are. Once I get 3 or 4 deposits, I will book the lodge. Probable will fit 4 people max. We can look into a larger place if needed. ONLY a DEPOSIT will reserve your space at the lodge/cabin we're staying at. Demos are usually set for 1-2 hours max. If you want a fatbike for the day, you'll need to bring yours or rent one at a local shop. Plan Ahead. **NEW THIS YEAR**: Shops attending will offer Demos and/or rentals. You’ll be able to contact your favorite shop in advance of the event to procure a steed to use all day. Details and prices will vary per vendor. http://kingdomtrails.org/calendar/winterbike/ **SUPER IMPORTANT NOTICE!** if you plan to bring your bike, you my want to put it inside your vehicle. The salt from the road will remove your paint and deteriorate your frame. I have two bike with peeling paint, down to the aluminum (or aluminium if your Brittish ;-) ) from using a bike rack in the Winter** I think we had a lodge for ten set up last year. • What to bring Warm Clothes and a Bike. Snowboard/skis maybe?? Beer • Important to know This will be lots of Fun!

Whether you know what a Lumpy Bumpy and Rollie Polie is or prefer a morning rail trail ride, there’s one thing we all share in common; A love for Mountain Biking! Not all rides are for all skill levels but we will try to get everyone out, riding and having fun!

Though we are not affiliated with JORBA (Jersey Off-Road Bicycle Association) we will often cross link rides. They are a big part of why we have places to ride in NJ so we do what we can to support them.
