Using Images in WordPress

After a break last month, we're back to talk about using images in your WordPress site. We'll cover resizing photos in Photoshop (with a discussion about file size, types, and image size), inserting images into a post, creating galleries, and using featured images & the Image post format.

The first half of the meetup will be very beginner-friendly, the only assumptions are that you have Photoshop (or another photo-editing software) & a WordPress site. For developers, the last part of the presentation will cover how to support featured images and/or image post formats in your themes.
