The 1:15 train from JLS is the best option. If you can't make that there is a 3:15 train/bus. & the 5:50 train will take you to Bakersfield(bike legal)staffed station.

Buy tix on the 717 train to return.

An intermediate/advanced ride (not all flat!).
Some "good" dirt road on the last day,otherwise the route is paved.

Taking the train from Jack London Sq. Wed. PM Nov.27th to Wasco Ca
Ride 7 miles that evening to the Famoso Inn, Famoso Ca.

Thursday an early start for the longest days ride 61.9 miles to Rivernook Campground, Kernville.

Friday 32.7 miles to Redwood Meadow Campground adjacent to Trail of 100 Giants.

Saturday 16.3 miles to California Hot Springs Resort.
(Shorter riding mileages Fri/Sat allow time to hike in the giant Sequoias and enjoy the hot springs.

Sunday,back to the Wasco train station 62 miles,mostly downhill.
