Join this exciting inclusive Meetup for FREE and enjoy engaging First Friday socials, fun activities and adventurous events. Our members are hard-working gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) professionals and advocates from a variety of disciplines such as military, government, banking, law, medicine, new media, interior or fashion design and communications. We all share the same desire to enjoy the company of like-minded professionals in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
Build a stronger base of professional contacts. Share ideas and job possibilities, tap expertise, or meet potential clients or business partners. Benefit by making new connections and honing ideas. There are no membership dues to be a part of it. Nor are there referral expectations like BNI's. Just show up, meet new people, and have fun. This group sets an exciting new paradigm. It's a new day, a new era, and this facilitates valuable connections for personal, professional, and business success.
Our group is welcoming and inclusive, respectful of everyone under the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) rainbow and straight allies.
Our signature event is the monthly First Friday social hosted by TJ Flavell. Often we team up with other groups to co-sponsor events, offering more opportunities for mingling and fun.
Better yet, you may join this cosmopolitan group regardless of where you reside, be it NoVA, DC, or Maryland, or wherever, you are welcome. Our events are the rage! Tell your friends and bring them along.
This Meetup is affiliated with the popular Go Gay DC - Metro DC's LGBTQ+ Community. You are welcome to join that as well to stay in the know.

This LGBTQ+ community-wide social provides everyone a chance to mingle, socialize and share community spirit in a fun setting. All your friends are welcome. Fabulous people from all over the world are expected. It's FREE to attend. Casual attire is fine; this will be a relaxing and fun time. Simply pay for drinks using your own credit card or cash; there is no group tab. This is a 21+ establishment., so bring your ID with you.

Free garage parking is easy to find. Four of Shirlington’s garages share their parking so that the spaces available to office workers during the day are available for public parking on evenings and weekends. During the weekdays there are 879 public parking spaces and on evenings and weekends there are 2,446 public parking spaces. See the map.

This fun annual event brings the LGBTQ+ community together for delicious food and conversation. We will gather on the front patio. It's free to attend (no cover). You simply pay for whatever you order on your own separate credit card; there's no group tab to worry about.
This social event officially starts at 4 p.m. at Freddie's Beach Bar & Restaurant, 555 23rd St. S, Arlington, Virginia 22202. That may seem early, but it guarantees us prime seating and the best service. We will gather on the front patio for conversation and dinner.
The all-you-can-eat buffet includes a champagne or mimosa OR coffee/tea or soft drink for only $29.99. The buffet includes hand carved turkey, spiral ham, cranberry sauces, candied yams, green been casserole, and so much more! Yummy desserts will also be served. The regular menu may also be available for those with dietary restrictions.

Metro Directions: Be eco-friendly. Crystal City Metro on the Blue/Yellow lines is the closest Metro stop. When you arrive, go out the station, walk towards your left to 18th Street and then veer right and walk under the Route 1 overpass to Eads St. Turn left and walk to 23rd Street. Turn right. Freddie's is up 23rd Street just a block. Just look for the rainbow flags on the right side of the street!
Freddie's was voted the Best Virginia Bar by Washington Blade readers. Don't like a smoky bar? You are covered: Freddie's is a smoke-free establishment. (Ashtrays are provided in back of the building if smoking is 'your thing').

Dupont Italian Kitchen has been serving delicious Italian cuisine for over 30 years. But it’s so much more than just another Italian restaurant. It’s a second home to a loyal crowd of regulars, a hangout spot for LGBTQ+ residents and their families, and a beloved part of the 17th Street community. It’s one of the District’s top spots for people watching—where you can enjoy a Mimosa or Sangria on the patio as the crowds pass by. But perhaps most importantly, it’s one of the rare restaurants left in DC that retains a small-town feel—where the customers and staff know each other on a first-name basis.
