How You Can Profit From Texas Tax Sales

You can get great bargains at the tax sale auction.
It's true, because the opening bid is based on the amount of unpaid taxes, which is usually a fraction of the property's market value.

And, like the mortgage foreclosure auction, the amount and quality of houses that are available at the tax sale auction has improved due to the ongoing financial/real estate crisis.

However, the key to success is still (as in most areas of real estate investing) understanding the procedures, and coming prepared.

It's true. With tax sale purchases, by law, you will automatically make 25-50% profit above what you paid, if the previous owner 'redeems' (buys back) the property from you. Sound good? Is there a catch? Well, that's one of several important realities you will learn about. Why Tax Sales in Texas?

Tax sale procedures are different in each state. This presentation will give you a complete picture of the total current process - specifically as it is conducted in Texas, including some features that are little-known but can make a big difference.

Arnie Abramson is arguably the the most knowledgeable person in the state on Texas tax sales, both the procedures and the buying strategies, based on his large volume of experience, and the extensiveness of his technical knowledge. He is probably currently the most active tax sale buyer in the north Texas market (five houses at one auction, etc.). And he has devoted all of his attention for the last three years to acquiring a thorough, in-depth knowledge of both the law and local procedures.

Arnie says that, in this presentation, even if you are an experienced tax sale buyer, he believes you will learn some valuable things you didn't know.

Before becoming a Texas real estate investor in 1991, Arnie Abramson had successful careers as a financial planner, and as Vice-President of Marketing for a national real estate management company which marketed public Real Estate Limited Partnerships. He began buying houses in Texas at tax sale auctions (Sheriff Sales) in 1992, and has now been an investor, landlord, mentor, educator, speaker and property manager for more than twenty years.

Arnie is a frequent speaker, mentor and teacher across the Metroplex, as well as in several other Texas cities. He also has been a guest speaker regarding tax sale strategies for groups in several other states. He is past president of the Texas Real Estate Investors Association (TxREIA) and is on the Advisory Board of NTAREI.

His company, Texas Tax Sales Resource Group LLC, provides complete information, training, guidance and support on tax sales, as well as offering a program for investors to participate in shared acquisition of tax sale properties with a smaller investment. They monitor and attend the tax sale auctions in Dallas, Tarrant, and several other counties every month.
