Simulcast of August NYTM at New Work City

Note: This listing is for the simulcast at New Work City, not the main event

For the simulcast: join a small group of friends and fellow technologists to watch NY Tech Meetup live from New Work City. You'll have a chance to connect and enjoy a beer, all while watching the demos at NYTM's monthly event.

During any downtime that may occur, we'll use the time to introduce ourselves and get to know each other. If there are any apocalyptic issues, we may call upon you to demo things yourselves :)

If you're a New Work City member: we'll hold some extra spots for you. Add yourself to the wait list if the event is full!

Want to sponsor the next simulcast? Email [masked] to discuss!

Work late? Bring a laptop! After the simulcast, our late night coworking club NightOurs meets in the back. Stick around and cowork with us!

There were some technical difficulties but was at no fault of the Simulcast team.

The environment is nice and offers "free" (technically I paid for my ticket) cold beverages and warming people. I give this a 4 out of 5 because there's simply nothing like being at the actual event not having to worry about a stream not showing essential parts of neat presentations.

    Would I come here again?
I'd try really hard to get a ticket at the main event before I pay the same amount to sit and watch from a projector.

Would you recommend this to others?
Again, there's nothing like the main event, but you do get to hear behind-the-scene start up pitches that you wouldn't hear at the main event and meet people just like you would at the NYTM. Plus you do get a chance to drink back a couple of beers while watching the live stream. So yes, I'd recommend it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
