Yes, I was thinking the same thing. The NY Tech Meetup is a great event but only for the first[masked] quick-clickers who can RSVP and includes all that are interested in the space, not just the startup people (which is not bad, actually it's great). And NY Tech Meetup is a presentation event, where Richie's event was a great interactive medium and was super useful.
Our association would be made up of and exist solely for the internet/tech entrepreneurs/founders/startuppers. Who can secure a large enough space to setup an initial brainstorming session next week? Or, Richie, would you like to fold this initial session into one of your events if it makes sense?

But isn't that what this event already kinda is. I think the goal is to get more and more happening in general.
