Large auto companies were the ones to make innovation affordable and available to the general public:

Apple, HP, Microsoft, Sun through both innovation and acquisitions created and continue to sustain the ecosystem that we (including small tech. businesses) are all benefiting from.

I predict the same will happen for the majority of the small players in the "cloud" space. They will be bought out or pushed out of the existence. Mostly pushed out. It is a natural cycle. Childish anti big business mantra is silly at best.
