December 2016: Jupiter’s Blessings: Finding the Luck in Your Chart

With its benevolent, prosperous and generous personality, it’s easy to see why Jupiter was crowned the greater benefic and rules good luck. However, it’s not always easy to understand how its fortunate nature is likely to reveal itself. In this seminar, Debra Anne Clement will discuss Jupiter’s potential for good fortune according to its natal sign and house placement, as well as offer insights into its expression when it happens to be unaspected or retrograde in the horoscope. By the end of this lecture, you’ll be able to spot Jupiter’s blessings in a chart and make the most of what you find.

Debra Anne Clement, J.D. is a professional astrologer with 20 years of experience working with clients from all walks of life. Born with Gemini rising, she’s also an attorney, teacher, speaker and writer. From 2008–2012, she was the host of Anchored in Astrology, a weekly Internet radio program that featured astrology lessons, interviews, and no-prep readings with live callers. A self-confessed overachiever, Debra intends to explore the planets from the command chair of a Starship in her next life.

Our meetup takes place at the Theosophical Society, which is next door to Quest Bookshop. You may enter through the bookshop before 7 pm (when it closes) or to the left of the bookshop after 7 pm. A sign will be posted on the door you can enter. The following is a rough outline. We start at 7 pm.

7–7:20 - Short talk sharing some astrological fundamentals, especially for beginners

7:20–7:40 - Brief intros from attendees, announcements

7:40–8:40 - Main presentation

8:40–9:15 - Socializing (while putting away chairs)
