Extremely low cost Permaculture course offering (full 72 hour PDC)

For those serious about meaningful change to help restore our planet:

has been converted from the usual two week 72 hour intensive course
into a weekend series over the Summer months. You will have a better
idea how to reduce waste in your home, reduce your energy consumption,
and create abundance while everyone else thinks the future is full of
sacrifice. This will be the most positive approach available to a low
energy future. Everything from food preservation to composting safety
will be covered.

This course has been in the
planning stages for well over a year. Our first attempt was cancelled,
due to ... hard to explain. However, the result has been Parks
Department sponsorship and a very low cost of $300. Usually, the PDC
would cost in excess of $1000, but the Parks Department offers this as
part of their programming for the Nature Center this year.

See for comparison:

Turning a desert in Jordan into a food forest using Permaculture:

it can be done in a desert, the ease of applying these concepts here in
NYC will be very simple. You'll never think about a weed the same
way again, never mind the horror you'll understand from using
pesticides. You'll know which weeds to leave along, which ones to eat,
and which ones to make compost. If you don't see a pesty insect,
you'll go looking for one to feed the beneficial insects you do want
(and which plants these beneficial insects use for shelter). Then
you'll go beyond gardening concepts to apply these concepts into your
personal and professional lives. You'll never see a problem the same
way again.

To sign up for the course please call Tom at[masked] 0246.
Due to great interest and such low tuition, this class is almost full and space is limited, so call now!
