Save the date: Saturday October 8th Lobster Dinner at Imani!
I think we've finally got all of the nits nitted and the date is set:
October 8th!

This will be a repeat of last year's fantastic New England Style
lobster dinner fund raiser to support the work of Imani Garden.  We'll be steaming lobster outdoors on a bed of seaweed along with fresh corn on the cob.  We'll be getting the lobsters fresh from Maine the day before the event.

Dinner will include, in addition to lobster and corn, potatoes and
greens.  Handmade beverages will be available for an additional
charge.  Drawn butter will be available to make your lobster mouth-
watering delicious.

The price for all this: just $25 if you pay in advance.  We're capped
at 100 dinners, so order now!  If you wait, not only do you risk not
getting a lobster, you will have to pay $30.

For those vegetarians among you, you can get everything but the
lobster for $15 if you pay in advance, $20 at the door.

For your ordering convenience, we've created a website that allows
credit card payments.  Here's the link:
Please note: all reservations must be made on-line.  If you do not have access to a computer, call us at [masked]-5139.

Many thanks to Alice Lo for creating this great website.
100% of the proceeds benefit the community building, urban agriculture, food justice, and sustainable design initiatives at Imani Garden and are stewarded by community gardeners and Green Phoenix Permaculture, a 501c3 non-profit organization

Here's looking towards some great lobster dinners and some more money
to further the work of Imani Garden!
