NATURAL BUILDING WORKSHOPS IN JUNE, 2009--TWO WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITIES FOR HANDS ON LEARNING, FUN AND COMMUNITY

CLAY EARTH PLASTER WORKSHOP--Arrival Thursday PM, June 11, Workshop Fri,Sat, Sun. June 12,13,14

LIME PLASTER WORKSHOP--Arrival Thursday PM, June 25, Workshop Fri, Sat, Sun, June 26, 27, 28  [ A sweat lodge hosted by our friend Paul Tobin and led by Dakota Sundance Chief, Calvin Pompano will also be held at Camp Epworth at the same time and will be available to workshop participants]

DESCRIPTION: Join the many hands that have helped create the regenerative straw bale farm house at Camp Epworth over the last year. Come join us in learning natural building skills and having great fun in the process on the beautiful 160 acres of Camp Epworth, located two hours north of New York City and accessible by public transportation.

Workshop participants will learn about the science and properties of plasters and plastering techniques, through both presentations and discussions and hands on experience. We welcome students working with natural building and those who have no experience.
