Vegan Dinner at The Organic Grill

Join us on April 16th at The Organic Grill, where, according to New York Magazine, eating healthy is "[n]ot a problem at this East Village café where locally grown produce and artisan ingredients make up dishes like black-bean-and-roasted-peppers quesadilla with vegan cheese. Even the coffee is organic and shade-grown."

According to Timeout New York, "[t]his casual, cozy, friendly vegetarian café (with a couple of fish options on its menu) rounds up the usual suspects of herbivore cuisine: vegetables steamed or sautéed; salads; grilled-tofu sandwiches and simple macro plates."

Urban Naturale says, "[w]hen I’ve waited too long to eat, feel like I’m close to starvation and there is nothing fresh, healthy, organic or edible in my kitchen, my go-to choice for fast, organic food is Organic Grill on First Avenue in the East Village. I know that I can count on them for organic, mostly vegan, American fusion dishes that are prepared in a healthy, yet tasty way."

The Organic Grill also serves beer and wine in addition to fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, homemade sodas, and a wide assortment of teas and coffees.

For those of you who have never attended one of our Meetup events: this is an incredibly friendly & welcoming group. It will be easy to find our group: just look for our large table. Everyone pays for themselves. Easy!

Train Directions: The Organic Grill is conveniently accessible by subway. Take the 6 train to Astor Place, the L train to 1st Avenue, or the F train to 2nd Avenue.

**Please arrive promptly at 7:00pm. There is one seating only.**

Everyone loved their food. Mine was fantastic. Even better though was the amazing attendees. Wonderful to welcome all the wonderful new members who attended. And it's always a great pleasure to hang out with our fantastic regulars. A very big welcome to Raphael, one of the organizers of the London Vegan Meetup who attended. And to Hilary, founder of the Toronto Vegan Meetup. Wonderful to chat with you guys, as well as everyone else who attended. It was a perfect evening. And delighted to meet our charming host Julia Chebotar and her staff -- thanks for your very kind hosting and delicious food!

I always walk by this place and it looks great! I think I was here just once, about ten years ago. So happy to be going back! Thank you very much for organizing, Martin!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
