Details
For this session we'll be focusing on teaching individuals the fundamental basics of Python, and we'll go in depth and explain some of the comments and concerns people have when learning Python.

This will be the first of a few classes that will lead to in-depth Python. It's not going to be a hard class, but an important class to start programming Python!
We'll go over the basics of variables, loops, if-statements, and hopefully going through some libraries to use with Python. I'll explain the Python Package Manager, and go through the general syntax & also the power of Python!
Please come with Python installed - because it'll be easier to get started! But if you've any issues we'd be happy to help solve them at the event.
Instructions to Install Python
Mac: If you're on a Mac you already have Python but please install XCode (https://developer.apple.com/xcode/) beforehand.
Windows: If you are a Windows user then please install Python by following this guide Jeremiah wrote (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EpaUL8biFdg4ZOc0cNgeNN9GP5ogF0uezYjWZa9o_hk/edit)!
If you're new to programming - try attend this event. It'll be extremely useful and things will just get harder from here! We'll have the slides & details from the event, but listening and programming with other hackers is great to help learning.
We'll have pizza at the event for everyone to eat, and we'll just go at a slower pace than last week's HTML/CSS event! So if last week was too fast paced - I promise this week will be slower as we have less to cover!
Also: After this event we'll be starting to bring in speakers from outside to talk about technologies relating to Python or other languages. So if you've anything you want to learn: email me (me@abhiagarwal.com)!
