Photo-birding: Wintering birds of the San Diego River Channel

Willets and Wigeons and Wimbrels, oh my!

Join us on the San Diego River Channel at Robb Field in Ocean Beach for photographing wintering shorebirds and waterfowl in addition to resident egrets and herons. We will take advantage of a late afternoon low tide. We will also look to photograph the Robb Field resident pair of Ospreys. A long lens of at lease 300mm is preferred for this outing. And don't forget a wide angle lens if you plan on staying to photograph the sun setting on OB.
