Let’s go Shoot some Zombies! ******DETAILS HAVE BEEN AMENDED*****

Last year PPS members met at Horton Plaza to shoot the Zombies as they parade down the Gaslamp. It was a blast. The costumes and the participants provide for over the top fun and outstanding photo ops.

Meeting place and time: AMENDED

We will meet at Horton Plaza as the Zombies gather for their Gaslamp parade. Be sure to bring your medium zoom lens. A flash may be helpful, but is not necessary. I would not bring a tripod or monopod as there are far too many Zombies and spectators. Be careful walking. You may not want to pull your eye away from the viewfinder, but be aware of your surroundings. There are obstacles, street lights that must be observed, and as always, be cautious in a crowd. You don’t want to become one of the walking dead, LOL. The Zombie march begins from Horton Plaza at 5:30.

Parking: As Comic Con is so well attended, parking will be difficult. You may want to carpool.

Due to the popularity of Comic Con in general and the Zombie walk, we have amended this to an open shoot. Afterwards you are on your own. You can go to Petco Park to view the “Walking Dead Escape”. There is a $15 charge for this event. Tickets may sell out in advance, so if you want to do this in addition to the Zombie walk, you might consider purchasing a ticket in advance.
