The Sunday Promotional Wing Chun Class welcomes members to explore this unique, elegant and authentic style of Wing Chun.
Solo set practices & combat drills with partner in each class. No worries if you are a beginner as INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION will be given to every learner and cater to your level+ability+learning needs.
You will have a lot of FLEXIBILITY and CONFIDENCE to make progress at your own pace and ability. Class will normally be 2 hour long.
What do you learn in your first four lessons?
Week 1-Lesson 1:
● Basic stances and footwork
● Decorum of Siu Nim Tau (小念頭)
● 2 basic drills: bong sau (膀手) and tan sau (攤手)
● 2 self defense moves
Week 2-Lesson 2:
● Internal energy training
● First 3 movements of Siu Nim Tau
● 1 basic drill: forward cutting palm (切掌)
● Additional 2 self defense techniques
Week 3-Lesson 3:
● Stamina training/Flexibility training
● Next 3 movements of Siu Nim Tau
● 1 basic drill: circular cutting palm (圈切掌)
● Additional 2 self defense techniques
Week 4-Lesson 4:
● Meditation training
● Next 3 movements of Siu Nim Tau
● 1 basic drill: horizonal grabbing hand (執手)
● 1 extra basic drill: whipping fist (鞭拳) (conditional)
● Additional 2 self-defense techniques
FEE: $150/session ($400 per month).
*Full time students are eligible to apply for fee exemption.
VENUE: Room 205, 2/F, Mei Foo Government Complex, No. 33 Mei Lai Road, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon

About Sifu: Sifu Joseph Lau is the sixth generation of the Pao Fa Lien Wing Chun school. Sifu Joseph has more than thirty years of experience in Kung Fu and martial arts. Before Wing Chun, he had received formal training in Southern Shaolin, Tai Chi, GHS Bagua Zhang as well as Qi-gong.
