TALKS
Chatops - Modern workflow by Joren Van Hocht (https://twitter.com/jorenvanhocht)
We all loved IRC so now with the new generation of chat services we didn’t hesitate for a second to gradually start moving our operations to Slack. Custom built but made with love by Joren, our chatops developer. Joren will take you through our experiences.
Speaker: Joren Van Hocht, junior in age, senior in coding & motivation. A very big Laravel and Chatops enthousiast, received the highest grades and a special award at KDG University College for his Laravel package “blogify”. Kicking ass at These Days since 2015.
Lessons learned from building an asynchronous filesystem component by Cees-Jan Kiewiet (https://twitter.com/wyrihaximus)
file_get_contents and fread might make the filesystem look like a neatly maintained park but in reality it is a harsh and unforgiving jungle. Join me in this journey to the heart of your filesystem and understand how it truly works.
Speaker: Cees-Jan has been writing code since he could use a keyboard. With a high interest in asynchronous programming and pushing the edge of things. After using ReactPHP he became a ReactPHP team member where he works on the react/filesystem package. Aside from ReactPHP he works on several other open source projects, including some of his own.
