If used correctly these tools can speed up the requirements gathering process, ensure you prioritize the right features, and help you design things in a way that drives adoption.

Matt Thurmond (http://linkedin.com/in/mthurmond)loves building products and blowing away customer expectations. He was most recently a Sr. Product Manager at Granular, an Andreessen Horowitz and Google Ventures backed startup building software for large farms. There, he interviewed, surveyed, and visited customers and launched nearly a dozen new features based on what he learned. Prior to that, Matt was a Sr. Product Manager at Adap.tv where he built products for web video publishers. Being from Memphis, he is a southern boy at heart and holds an engineering degree from Mississippi State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
