Python Delhi User Group Meetup, 8th August

Hello everyone,
We will be having our next meeting at AntiSocial, Hauz Khas Village on 8th August. We will be continuing with the Beginners Python workshop series, along with regular User Group Meetup and talk sessions afterwards.
Agenda (User Group Meetup 4pm-6pm):
- Attendee Introduction (10mins)
- Talk by Pankaj Singh (psjinx) on Moving from Django to Pyramid - Lessons Learned (https://github.com/pydelhi/talks/issues/3) (30mins)
- Break (10mins)
- Flash Talks/Demos (30-40mins)
- Networking/Hiring etc... (20mins)
- Disperse by 6pm
Workshop (2pm-4pm)
We will be continuing with the Beginners Python Workshop that happened on 11th of July. This session the topics to be covered are: classes, modules, standard libraries, third party modules, testing and some more python magic if the time permits :-)
Do try to fill out the following form (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1JnzWJ2Yc7ouJDz1zdIBnjgzgqmwbsFZECUyIks9-nL0/viewform) for attending the workshop. Please bring laptop with Python/Linux installed preferably.
If you are an experienced python developer, feel free to drop by 2 PM and volunteer for the workshop as a mentor.
Code Sprints to happen in conjunction with workshops(2pm-4pm)
Documentation/Translation sprint:
For beginners looking to get into open source we will be holding a sprint for that purpose. Guiding them through making documentation fixes for a open source project.
open ended code sprint:
Just find some people with a similar interest and start a coding for that subject.
We will try to get guides for some subjects if possible.
Kivy (Akshay Arora will act as a guide)
- Bugs fix http://github.com/kivy/kivy/issues sprint.
- Make a app for Python Conference Delhi.(First draft)
