Who needs a Chef or a Puppet when you have Salt? Salt is a python based configuration management and remote execution solution that is written in Python. It is like Chef or Puppet + Fabric. Salt lets you configure and automate routine administration on a few or a few thousand servers.

Mike will even show how to use boto and Salt to automatically spin up a server, configure it and put it in production.
