New Meetup: Python Atlanta Meetup

Howdy Folks!

I've updated the presentation list for tomorrow night as we've had a couple folks step up to offer another lightning talk and a presentation each. But let's still try to do a little code gauntlet if you dare!

Last time we "sort of" met before the meeting for supper but there was some confusion. Some folks met at Figo. Some nearer the venue. Can we consolidate this time? Can we maybe meet somewhere close to Ignition Alley as a group this time? Anyone want to make a suggestion?

See you there!

What: Python Atlanta Meetup

When: Thursday, June 10,[masked]:30 PM

Ignition Alley
696 Somerset Terrace
Atlanta, GA 30306

Come join us at Ignition Alley Thursday at 7:30pm! We have the following lined up!

"Intro to pyGTK Programming" will be a presentation given by Greg Meno.

"Exploring and testing security with Python" will be a lightning talk given by our own JR Rickerson, about how he has been finding Python useful, and about his experiences participating in a recent RootFu qualifying round.

"Remember itertools" will be a lightning talk given by new member Leif Poorman. This introductory and "remember itertools" talk will provide a brief overview of itertools.

"Code Gauntlet": Have a concise piece of code you'd like some help with? Bring it with you. If we have time, we'll throw it up on the big board and review it as a group. These need to be time-blocked for no more than 15 minutes, so you'll need to be able to explain it in 5.
