RE: [pyatl] Possibly a more permanent projector solution

I bought something very similar/identical at Target (paid more, of course)… it’s more of a toy, I think.  Mine is a bit fuzzy, too.  Input is via RCA jacks, not a VGA connector.

But I like Philip’s idea.  In fact, I suggested to Brandon after the last meeting that perhaps we could see if folks would wanted to chip in for a projector for the group…

I’m not positive, but I think we’d likely need to spend about $500 ($$ not well researched).   I’d be willing to go $20 or so.  We’d need another 25 folks…

Maybe we could find one cheaper on sale or second-hand.

Any thoughts?

Pete

I believe that one is pretty low brightness.  If you are used to the one I have brought that is something like 3000 lumens, you'll probably be disappointed in the one on Woot.  Not sure about that, but that is my guess.

Hey guys,

I was surfing the internets today, and came across this incredibly low priced projector on woot.com... It's there now.

I'm likely buying one, but I don't make it to every meeting. Depending on the quality, and whether or not it fit's the groups needs, perhaps a couple of us having one would remediate some of the "no projector" issues we've been having.
