The fact that this month started on a Friday pushes our monthly Python
Atlanta meeting as late as it can go: the 13th of the month, when May
will be nearly half over!
What will the meeting involve? I'm prepared to talk about Python
testing frameworks, comparing zc.testing and py.test and nose, since I
just wrote some articles on those topics for IBM DeveloperWorks.
- Would any of the rest of you be able to talk about testing, so that
we could make it the theme of our meeting? Several people have asked
for web testing specifically, so if any of you are using Selenium or
Windmill and could give us a ten or twenty minute demonstration, it
could help people get started on something that many people find very
daunting when they first encounter it.
- Are there any other topics on which any of you would like to talk for
five minutes, ten minutes, twenty minutes, or longer?
If your answer to either of the above is "yes", then send me an email at
[address removed] and I'll put you on the schedule.
Once I've gotten everyone's responses, I'll send out an email early this
weekend with an official schedule, and update the Meetup description
at the same time. See you next Thursday!
