It's time for a Python Atlanta meeting!
Summer is coming to a close, and our August meeting will be this week,
on this Thursday evening. Here is the Meetup link so you can check out
the details and RSVP:
The first speaker up this month will be Alfredo Deza, who will introduce
the popular "sqlite3" database and talk about what it's like to use it
from the Python language.
Next, I'll talk about how to write code that's testable versus code
that's not easily testable, and I'll argue that the habits that result
in testable code also result in code that's easy to read and manage.
That leaves room for another speaker; or a Q&A session; or two or three
lightning talks! Send me an email if you'd like to weigh in which of
these ideas we try.
Note that, with our September meeting, we will return to our usual
schedule of meeting the second Thursday of each month. I'll go add
placeholders for the rest of this year's meetings to Meetup right now.
See you on Thursday!
