Driving Ultrasonic Module with Python: SULU
Details
Welcome to the first PyHUGE meetup in 2014. Happy coding year!
(This talk will be in English and welcomes non-Mandarin speakers.)
For this meeting we are using a residential place, please see http://files.meetup.com/2179791/RouteToPyHUGE%282014Feb27%29.pdf for directives to get there (and get in!) We'll prepare food and each attendee should share the cost with about NTD 100.
Synopsis
SULU (Stealthy Ultrasonic Leading Utility) is a working project of Droidtown Linguistic Tech. at its preliminary stage. It's composed of a Python platform (RPi in this case) and multiple ultrasonic sensors.
As the name is adopted from the navigator Hiraku Sulu in Star Trek, SULU is designed to be the navigator for the optically disabled people to travel to the unknown space.
