The Rochester Hiking Meetup Group was formed to meet others interested in Hiking, biking, and Outdoor Sports -year round.
THIS GROUP NOW HAS A ONE TIME $5 INITIATION FEE for ALL members. Payment required within 30 days please.
You have found the home of one of the most active outdoor hiking groups in the Upstate New York area
We suit a broad range of tastes, but are really not for the hikers that cannot handle 2-3 hours of medium activity and NO DOGS on hikes.
We will continue with mountain biking, cycling, ice skating, inline skating, skiing, hiking, live entertainment, perhaps a winter camp out, snowshoeing, sledding and social events with other groups.
This group was formed for YOU! We will try to schedule an event around you and get the ball rolling on something you perhaps would not otherwise try.

Our next MeetupDryer Road Park
Moderate 4-mile hike with some hills.
We will hike some of the more gently sloping but also more wildly convoluted of the many twisting trails in the Park, and move outside of the Park to Fort Hill and its spectacular southern view.
