About us
You have found the home of the Rochester Hiking Meetup Group. It is here to help people interested in hiking to hike and to meet each other. We're active all year long. What's more, we have many members who are crossover members from other local Meetup groups, so opportunities to investigate and enjoy other interests abound.
RHMG should not be confused with a walking group, but we have scheduled activities suitable for hikers of varying abilities. Be sure to check individual hike descriptions for information about the level of difficulty, and contact the hike leader with more specific questions about the pace and terrain.
Please note that we regretfully do not allow pets on all our regular activities activities, but we do host dog hikes.
For additional hikes please check out our sister club on meetup Genesee Valley Hiking Group (GVHG).
See you on the trail soon!
