I'm in.  After thinking, I have always said its more about the group, and less about the game.  So.. count me in.

That group has made quite a name for itself and they're quickly expanding their influence beyond the little kingdom where they started. I'm looking for another group to adventure in the same world albeit beginning in a different location so that the sunday gang doesn't think it's got a monopoly on being the biggest badasses on the block (though there's only one Zazzo so the Friday grp would start at a severe disadvantage. (inside joke))

> The friday group would start within the one free city in a desert location at level 4. No restrictions on race or class (the new packet includes multi-class so that's cool) but there would be armor restrictions a la the old al'qadim setting (at least while you are in the desert). If you wanted your background to involve a desert origin and you wanted to go the extra mile, we could work together to modify the al'qadim class kits to the Next rules to provide a little flavor. Also, I'd be happy to consider suggestions on changing some of the spells to incorporate more of a desert theme (i.e. Ray of Frost might not make much sense for a mage born in the desert)

I try to have interesting storylines to drive the party forward but I'm not wedded to any particular plot point. Just ask the sunday group-they've totally ignored several of my story hooks and moved onto something completely different. I also like to have individual story lines going on for any player interested in going that route. With a little communication, just about anything can be weaved into the overall arc.

> That's the story in a nutshell. I like small groups and Next really lends itself as a ruleset to just about any size group. So if I can get at least 3 players that are interested, I'd be happy to start either of the first 3 fridays in November. Just respond to this email and include which weeks you'd want to play.
