Comprehensive Philadelphia Rally Information

From: Luke M.
Sent on: Thursday, November 8, 2007 9:37 PM
Hello Everyone:

I am really excited about the response that we've gotten about going to Philadelphia. Here are some details about the trip that everyone has been inquiring about:

Location of the rally:

Independence Mall
(adjacent to Independence Hall)
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM ET
Arch Street (between 5th and 6th Streets)
Philadelphia, PA 19106

Meeting Up:

A large group of the Manhattan meet-up group will be converging together at the rally - if you recognize a familiar face, don't be shy and come join us. If you get split up at the rally, please feel free to call me at noon or later (Luke Mroz,[masked])

We only received one person willing to drive others to Philadelphia, so here are options for people who need a ride to Philadelphia:

Bus: Hourly busses from Penn Station to Philadelphia (30th St and Market St) (88 E. Broadway to Philly Chinatown)

No one is booking hotels on behalf of the meetup group. Everyone is on their own. What we do have are recomendations on where to stay:

Some of our members recomend the following hotel:

Sheraton Society Hill

Also, here is some information provided by our friends from the Philadelphia meetup group:
