Pannikin Run

We meet at 7:30 AM at the Pannikin coffee shop on 101 in Leucadia/Encinitas (it's the yellowish coffee shop with the patio seating). Look for a bunch of runners congregating out front. There is usually parking on 101, behind the Pannikin, or on the street one block west of 101.

This run is intended for anyone who wants to run an easy-paced long and flat run to get some good base miles in. A core group usually runs about 8 miles (to the end of the Carlsbad campgrounds and back), but since this is an out and back run, people come out and do whatever distance they need to, from 3 miles to 23 miles. We stick to the coast and we go out and back, so nobody will get lost or left behind. This run is meant to be long and slow, but pace is relative. Hopefully we will have a few different groups, so everyone will have people to run with.

Bring some money for post-run coffee and food at The Pannikin.
