"HELP a HEN" Party: Animal Place Benefit! Bring own Picnic Dinner+Bake sale!

Help a Hen Party!Now with some awesome speaker discussions lined up like Jennifer Fearing from Humane Society of the United States, Marji Beach from Animal Place, and Piper, our Event Coordinator par excellence!! And a Animal Place film: Into the Sunlight gives a rare, inside glimpse into the largest farmed animal rescued in California history – the life-saving effort, spearheaded by Animal Place, resulted in the rescue of 4,460 starving hens from a Turlock egg farm.

Marji Beach is the education manager for Animal Place, a non-profit farmed animal sanctuary located on 600-acres in Grass Valley and 60-acres in Vacaville. For the past eight years, she has advocated on behalf of farmed animals as a representative of Animal Place. Her educational background includes a BS degree in Animal Science from UC Davis. Marji Beach will introduce the sanctuary and the amazing residents calling Animal Place home. Prior to the showing of the film, she will go over the monumental rescue operation Animal Place undertook in saving the lives of 4,460 hens being starved to death on a California family-run egg farm.

All funds are to help out Animal Place who has rescued over 4,000 hens and really needs our financial support. Let us show the egg producing companies that people that we want them out of existence and expose their inhumane treatment of hens who just want to live in peace without harm! We can enjoy talking and sharing with each other and you can decide if your "girl" is the cutest of all! The photo is our very own PIPER with a rescued lady! Soooo sweet.

You can choose your own HEN to HELP as we will have photos of the girls for you. Every girl here needs you! Not one of them chose starvation or abandonment. Maybe saw this horrific story on the news. Let us tell the egg factory farms that their ARE people who care!

Please just make your own picnic food for yourself or your family. We are just gong to make this simple and fun! This is not a potluck! DO bring you fav cookiess or brownies to sell to help with fund raiser!!! Calling all vegan bakers now!! Let us know if you are one to donate baked dessert so we can sell them!!!

This is a Fund Raiser for Animal Place: $5.00 to $10.00 donation requested at the door. Thank you all for your kindness ahead of time! It is your donation that will help these hens have the lifetime of peace they deserve with enough food and freedom for each lady! And it is YOUR donation that will show these horrific egg factories that WE kind humans know and see the will take action to expose them and their horrific farms.
