Hike leaders: Liz and David Starr
When: Saturday April 16th 2011, 11:30am
What to bring: Water, hiking shoes, snack, hat, dress for weather,
sunblock, and a friendly smile
Hike level: advanced beginner 5-6 miles RT, 1,000 ft gain loss-- walking on
trails,roads, and fireroads. Some steep areas, up and down.
The hike should take 3 hours
Directions: from the 405 exit on Crenshaw ave and head South on Crenshaw until it ends at the fire road at very top of Palos Verdes pennisula. See the address above and you can click on it to see where it is too.
Hike description: first we will start on a fire road called the Burma road. We'll hike down to the ocean and back up again. Beautiful view of Catalina and points looking south and southwest from PV pennisula.
Rain cancels (wet roads)
Dogs are ok but be aware that we don't stop the hike for cute little doggies to smell everything and leave their scent marks.
