5-6 MILE HIKE alongside a stream... lots of rock-hopping... (last time a few of us got wet shoes... but if you're careful you can avoid the water...)

parking's gonna be TOUGH... so expect to park on one of the upper parking lots and walk down 1/2 to 3/4 mile to the trailhead...

allow an extra 20-25 minutes to find parking and walk down

***IF YOU LEAVE THE WEST SIDE BY 10:30am...

you'll have time to park and walk down to the trailhead

YOU NEED AN ADVENTURE PASS ( one per vehicle / $5 per DAY pass ) and can be purchased at the RANGER station on the right; 1/2 mile before the turn to the parking lot. YEAR passes are $30 a year
