Palos Verdes Conditioning Hike


Details
We will start at Del Cerro Park at the end of Crenshaw Bl. in Palos Verdes.
Hike level: This is considered a medium level hike, 1100 feet elevation gain and loss, 5 miles roundtrip.
This is mostly fireroads and trails till we get to the bottom.
This is an upside down hike which means you hike mostly downhill first and climb up to gethttp://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/c/9/4/event_121931412.jpeg back to the cars. It may seem easy on the way down, but once we start climbing back up, you will get a good workout. And you have no choice to get that workout. Your car is on top and you are not going home til you get to the top :)
On the hike down, we will go at a slow to medium pace to conserve energy for the hike up (you will thank me later for this!)

If you are pressed for time (or get too tired) you can turn around at any time. It is very easy to find your own way back as all trails lead you back to the top.
In consideration of others, please no one that has never "hiked" before. Understand that this is not a beginner's hike and does require a level of fitness and cardiovascular endurance to comfortably complete.
Please bring sufficient water (at least one liter) and snacks/food for the hike.
