Hike Cancelled Due to SAFETY

DUE TO SAFETY HIKE HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Bring your dog and hike!

This will be a two hour hike in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is an out and back hike about 3.5 miles round-trip.

Start with your dog on the leash and then the dogs can roam.  This is also a good workout hike.  Bring your water for you and your dog. Free parking on street.  See you at 9:00am sharp.

Is the address where we where supposed to hike a trail head? If so I will try it on my own with my dog until the next one is scheduled.

Those of us who did Not get the cancellation memo until we arrived had a great hike. The sun was shining!

I attest to that .... it did turn out to be a great day for the hike, sunshine and pleasant temperature. Thank you Todd for organising the hike, and for not cancelling it earlier; the night before. :-)

We understand that the hike is cancelled due to that yucky rain, but our pup is soooo disappointed. :-( Is it possible to reschedule this to ... oh, say, next weekend? Puppy please?

i'd love to go, but my chow mix is 14 years old, can't make it that far.

Hi Jerry, My dog is older too... You don't have to walk the entire route. Any other older dogs attending? We can have an old dog section. Mary

Hey there - wondering about the terrain? My wife and I would love to bring our dog, but my wife is 7.5 mos. preg. Any steep inclines or risk of falling might be a deterrant, but the distance is good.

My little one likes all dogs but has a special affinity for dogs her own size.

the hike is a fire road so it is wide and flat with a slow grade and only about a 4 mile hike. You can turn around at any time. Bring the wife and the dog

3.5 total, 2 hour hike. Slight fire road elevation gain. All the dogs made it the last 2 weeks.
