Seattle Bluegrass Meetup is Seattle-area bluegrass musicians getting together to pick, have fun, learn new tunes and hone skills.

The most important person at the jam is never the bassist, guitarist, violin, mandolin or banjo player...it's the newest person there. We want everybody to feel welcome so they come back, bring their friends and most of all are inspired to play and learn.

All levels welcome and encouraged.

Bluegrass/Mountain instruments include (loosely):
Guitar
Bass
Mandolin (or variant)
Fiddle
Banjo
Dobro
Dulcimer

Please don't bring spoons, washboards or drums.

“I played violin seriously for about 20 years, but have been out of it for about 6 years now due to other commitments. Now I have moved to Seattle, and want a forum that provides a fun opportunity to play again and meet new people.”
