Sunday's open mic runs from 4-7pm

The Hidden Door is located in N. Seattle on the NW side of Aurora Ave N. There is ample parking behind the building, so enter from Whitman Ave N.
They have great food, cheap drinks (about 30% less than Fremont/Ballard; 16 oz. tall-boys are $4).

Sunday early jazz jam at Darrell's Tavern

Darrell's Tavern

Early evening jazz jam at Darrell's Tavern is hosted by bassist, Kevin McCarthy since 2010.
Some of the areas best jazz players come together to play classic jazz standards, be-bop, fusion and pretty much everything you hear on KNKX 88.5 FM.
Jam starts early and ends early 6:00-9:00 so there is time to make it to The Angry Beaver in Greenwood.

Beaver Sessions (jazz jam session)

The Angry Beaver

The Beaver Session is a straight ahead jazz jam session that happens every Sunday night starting with an opening set by a rotating group followed by the session.

Monday Night 'Advanced' Bluegrass Jam @ The Hidden Door

The Hidden Door

We're doing an advanced bluegrass jam on Monday night. This is for players that have extensive experience with bluegrass music, can lead songs and take solos on most other songs. We may expand into some country or Western swing, so being able to adapt to different styles is essential.

The Hidden Door is in the North end of town, right on the Seattle/Shoreline border with easy access from I-5. Enter from Whitman (west side of Aurora - free parking right behind venue)
Multiple options for jamming - indoor, covered/heated outdoor and open air outdoor areas. Great prices on beer/drinks and food. (PBR/Rainer Tall Boys are $4, micro-brews $5)

Jamming starts at 8pm. String jam only, please no drums or washboards (harmonica OK).
