Who is this guy?

I remember meeting someone at the Marvell hackathon in oct 2014 who built water quality sensors and was serious altruistic about the project. Based in California.

There are some projects on hackster.io where people put their whole kit and code etc to collaborate.

BTW what is the smart citizen kit?

All sensemakers

I had a long call with a guy in the USA who has got very far with setting up a water quality sensing project and I promised him our collective help.

He is on the verge of having to select a water quality sensor and I know that here is the Netherlands, there must be many members who have been working with water quality in one way or another.  So I want to gather our collective genius and make sure that he selects the best sensor for his project and generates great citizen science data.

Question : Can anyone who has experience please reach out to me and I'll try to get a collective skype call or set up a slack channel so that we can collaborate.

Above all else I got the sense that he and his group are genuinely running as a non profit with the soul aim to improve the environment for residents - I think his group and our group are completely aligned in purpose and motivation.

He is already familiar with the work being done in Amsterdam;  he is planning to deploy TTN as the communications infrastructure and already knew about the Smart Citizen Kit.  I have also connected him with the Waag for possible co-operation.

Regards

Jonathan
