Q&A Session About Basic Memory Techniques (online)

  • Jul 31, 2013 · 7:00 PM

We're doing another online question & answer session on Wednesday evening at 7pm. Click here to sign up. The online meeting software that we use requires pre-registration (free). After you fill out the form, the software will send you the meeting URL.

I'm still looking for a dedicated spot for the in-person meetups. I think the cafes are a bit loud and the table arrangements sometimes aren't ideal. If anyone knows of a good, quiet room to use (or rent inexpensively) in San Francisco and/or Berkeley, please leave a comment below or send me an email.

Thanks!

The discussions are informal, so if you have questions about memory techniques, feel free to bring them. I can also help people work on their mnemonic systems for numbers and cards. I just memorized 400 digits of pi the other day and can explain how I have each digit indexed in a way that allows me to answer questions like "what is the 265th digit of pi?" or even recite the entire thing backwards.

P.S., there are also a couple of people from Asia and Europe signed up to attend, though I'm not 100% sure if they will be there because of the time difference. At least one of them is training for the World Championships in November.
