When WWW Meets IoT with Kevin Hoyt

About the Talk

What happens when the World Wide Web meets the Internet of Things? How does a web application access an IoT device in the first place? Once it has access to a non-stop steady stream of IoT device data, how does the web react? And how does all this impact how you architect your web applications in the future?

Join Kevin Hoyt as he shows several live demonstrations at the intersection of the web and IoT. Learn how IoT devices connect to the web. Explore best practices around interacting with IoT devices from a web-based interface. Discover how to architect your application for future IoT devices, using web standards that exist today.

This talk is aimed at web developers. No experience with the Internet of Things is necessary.
