About San Francisco Mobile

The San Francisco Mobile 2.0 Meetup a.k.a. "SF Mobile" - #sfmobile - is a networking group of Silicon Valley professionals who work in the mobile industry.

The group is dedicated to promoting the advancement of the mobile web. We typically meet on a monthly basis and provide an opportunity to share knowledge and experience, and hopefully help the next successful mobile start-up to get up and running.

Our events always focus on a particular topic to which we invite a few select speakers from Silicon Valley start-ups and sometimes more established companies - all however with significant expertise in the mobile industry.

You can request an invite by either applying here or by mailing to sfmobileweb <at> gmail <dot> com. We need five things from you:

• your name and email (corporate account)
  
• the company or organization you work for
  
• the particular function you have in your organization
  
• a summary of your experience within the mobile industry
  
• your LinkedIn profile
  

It helps to provide a reference to at least two of our current members. We do want to know from others why you would qualify to be among our members. If you don't know anybody within our group, you might have to wait a little longer to get in - either way though the core criterion for you is to bring heavy mobile expertise to the table.
