MacRitchie TreeTop Walk and Brownice Pizza & Ice Cream

Join us for a nice trail walk and some good food on Sunday, 15 May :). This trail takes us to the TreeTop Walk, a 250m long freestanding suspension bridge between the two highest points in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve (MacRitchie) and the first of its kind in Singapore. From the suspension bridge, you can delight in having a bird’s eye view of the forest canopy. You can also enjoy panoramic views of the verdant greenery of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve and the placid waters of the Upper Peirce Reservoir.
What to Bring: water bottle, - due to the length of the walk, it is essential to stay hydrated, sun protection, rain protection, insect repellent, camera (optional), and an excited enthusiastic attitude.
Attire:
The terrain for this trail is undulating with slopes at certain points. Do ensure that you are suitably attired in proper footwear like track shoes or sneakers (no flip flops/ slippers), T-shirt and comfortable pants/tights. Estimated average walking time: Between 2 to 3 hours
Distance: About 6 km (round trip including the TreeTop Walk). Level of difficulty: Moderate.
How to get there: 1.) Circle Line by Mrt, or 2.) bus 132,163,165,166,167,855,980 to Opp/Flame Tree Park bus stop on Upper Thomson Road and walk to Venus Drive
