What we're about

You don't have to be vegetarian to join the group or attend our meetings, but it certainly helps if you have interest in the subject and enjoy eating vegetarian food. :-) Join us and meet new friends and acquaintances, share recipes, great new places to eat - all while having a delicious vegetarian meal! To keep things as varied as possible, meetup locations and activities generally do NOT repeat (unless requested by popular demand). So if you see something that you like, don't miss out! If you don't already have an account here, sign up for one *AND* join the meetup group! That's two seperate activities!

🖼 OFF / ON: Everyday Technology that Changed our Lives, the 1970s – 2000s
Step into this immersive showcase and explore how everyday technological tools changed and shaped the lives of Singaporeans from the 1970s to the 2000s. Set against the backdrop of the nation's industrialisation and rapid transformation period, the showcase takes visitors through familiar local settings at home, work and other social spaces with a small yet specially curated selection of technology icons from Singapore's past. These include the typewriter and personal computer, as well as telecommunications and entertainment devices such as the payphone, pager and the technicolour television set. Visitors can look forward to getting to know and reconnecting with some of these technologies through several themed installations with complementary gamified experiences

⭐️ Read more about it here: https://www.nhb.gov.sg/nationalmuseum/our-exhibitions/exhibition-list/collecting-contemporary-singapore---technology-exhibition

⚠️ Depending on weather conditions, we might walk to the restaurant from the museum (20 minutes walk)

🌱 Nomvnom is a vegan fast food restaurant that specialises in plant-based burgers, pasta, ice creams, waffles and more. This is an all-time favourite to many vegans and non-vegans alike.
