How about a Sound Bath on Sunday?

Details
Experience the power of sound to profoundly relax body and mind
A Sound bath involves simply sitting or lying in a relaxed position whilst sounds are created all around with gongs, tibetan bowls and various sound healing instruments. You simply close your eyes and give yourself over to experiencing the sound as it arises and falls away.
During a sound bath, many people experience a sense of connectedness and peace. Sound can clear blockages and restore the free flow of vital energy throughout the body. Some people report out of the body experiences. Others ‘see’ beautiful colors. People report images, symbols, and past life impressions. The general after-affect is a feeling of being deeply present and grounded at the same time.
How does it work? Sound is not only experienced through the ears - sound waves physically impact the body causing a vibration at the cellular level. Harmonic vibrations slow down the respiratory, brain and heart rate, inducing the relaxation response and and creating a deep sense of well being. Tension is released, blockages cleared, and the mind can become still. With its ability to induce a spontaneous meditative state, a sound bath experience can access parts of the mind that are usually closed, resulting in a sense of expanded awareness and higher consciousness. And all you have to do is lie there!
Bring a mat and a blanket for your own comfort as your body temperature will drop as you enter a deep relaxed state.
Cost: €15
Limited Places so booking essential.
VERY IMPORTANT: AFTERCARE
After any sound healing session, you may find yourself deep in a non-verbal state. You may not feel like talking immediately. It can be good to just sit quietly for a while in the room. It is really important to ground oneself in the body before re-entering the outside world, especially if driving etc. So, we will finish with some tea & nibbles - eating is very grounding! - to ready us to re-enter the shared social space. Bring something edible to share if you like.
