5th Annual Malibu Creek Clean Up (Access Fund), Sat 10/4 @ 1pm [SCC]

Let's keep Malibu Creek State Park clean! We'll hike in from the SW corner of Las Virgenes Rd & Mulholland Highway, Calabasas, CA (http://goo.gl/maps/jI4cZ), put on rubber gloves, and place garbage into garbage bags. Rubber gloves and trash bags will be provided.

Following the trash clean up we'll have a prize drawing for items donated by the event's sponsors. Each participant gets one entry into the prize drawing, and those donating $10 or more get one additional entry as well as the use of a grabber stick. Proceeds go to the Access Fund to ensure our favorite climbing areas remain open.

Afterward some folks will stay to top rope at Planet of the Apes rock wall. If you plan to climb you'll want to bring a sandwich as well as a jacket, headlamp, and water in addition to your climbing gear.
