Happy Hour Climbing @ Stronghold DTLA

Join us for an awesome night of fun!

We'll be doing routes of all skill levels, even if you've never climbed before feel free to use this as an excuse to start being a little bit more awesome!

That said we will try to match people who are similar in climbing skill unless otherwise requested.

The plan is to meet up at the gym at 7:30, though you're welcome to come later if that works better for you, the meetup will likely be around until 10-10:30 or so.

I'm usually wearing a red harness and leggings. I also write my name and what I'm wearing up on the board that's next to the water fountain, between the bathrooms. You can also ask the front desk if you can't find me anywhere.

Parking can be tricky sometimes, if the main lot along Ave 21 is full there is also parking on the street on Main. I'm not sure if we're allowed to park in the little plaza on Main/Daly so be careful

Knowing how to belay is strongly recommended but not required, however you will be put into a group instead of a pair if you are unable to belay others. (size of group(s) depends on amount of people)

If you've never climbed before we can teach you how to make a climbing knot, but for belaying we strongly recommend taking the class.

Stronghold offers an easy belay class which includes rental on Wednesdays at 6:30, it's normally $35. You're more than welcome to take the class then join us when you're done (class takes about an hour and a half to two hours usually).
