Details

Cancelled for 12/7 due to large power outage in the Arlington Courthouse area around 5pm! No traffic lights are working in the blocks around the building as of 5:30pm. We will post comments as to other updates. The event will be rescheduled.

Update 12/6 - Food sponsors have kicked in and we encourage people to start arriving at 6:30pm to have some food and start enjoying social time.

Update 12/1 - Please register via EventBrite by Dec 4, so your networking information can be used to generate your TappedIn matches. It will take 4 minutes or so, and will start the unique process of professional/matching for event attendees:

Event details: Combining the presentation-style event format with networking, we are working with TappedIn (http://www.tappedin.me/) to create a new experience for our event series. TappedIn is a local start-up whose services match up people attending an event, based on each person's values, and professional & personal goals. Using your information on interests & passions, you are matched up with other attendees. (No app or device is needed - information is sent to attendees in advance).

This an opportunity to network & have conversations with people in the DC/MD/VA social web tech/creative entrepreneurial community. It's relaxed, and was started from ideas generated by members like you... to have a chance to experience what people in the community are doing.

Attendees had the opportunity, before the event, to enter some information and receive several recommendations of people they should meet at the event. (Update: these have been sent out).
